“Where the Wild Things Are” was always my favorite book as a child, I have it badly worn due to use (I didn’t have many books or toys), and represents one of the main pillars for my vocation as an illustrator.
I, suppose like many others, have received the seed by the master Maurice Sendak’s imagination, so I can only say, in my name and in the name of all “Thanks!, and good riddance to the land where wild things are, I hope they keep your crown, you deserve it”

Supongo que muchos serán Fans del trabajo de Moebius, yo no me considero Fan de nadie, pero en este caso he de explicar que, como autodidacta, he tenido unos profesores muy especiales (Bilal,Toppi, Battaglia, Breccia, Manara, Pratt….) y Moebius es casi la pieza principal de ese elenco del que tanto he aprendido en mis primeros años de vida en esta profesión.
Para mi hoy me deja un guia del camino, alguien que ha llegado a formar una pequeña parte de mi, como muchos otros, y que a veces se cuela en mi mano de forma furtiva para señalar que le debo algo, y hoy le debo un día de silencio que aprovecharé para ceñirme plumas y acuarelas y intentar regalarle un humilde homenaje.
